“Produced by Visionaries” is an invite-only annual series hosted during the Cannes Film Festival that brings together creative disrupters to spotlight the next generation of producers reshaping storytelling in media. The first edition of the event featured Alex Coco (ANORA, Palme d'Or Cannes 2024), Christine D'Souza Gelb (BABY GIRL, Nicole Kidman, Best Actress at Venice Film Festival 2024), and Carlos Suarez Estrada (DIDI) for a conversation about the future of the industry and independent filmmaking. The second edition of the event featured a fireside chat with Ro Donnelly and Samantha Racanelli from Dakota Johnson's TeaTime Pictures (DADDIO), followed by a conversation between Eva Longoria about the future of storytelling, international collaborations.

Emerging Producer Award
The Produced by Visionaries’ Emerging Producer Award is a unique award celebrating independent producers pushing filmmaking boundaries through bold storytelling or innovative models in production, financing and distribution strategies.
Following Anora's five Oscar wins, this special award celebrates the achievement of an independent producer, without whom independent films could not be made. This award will shine a light on the achievements of an emerging producer who is shaping the industry's future. The inaugural award was awarded to Apoorva Guru Charan and unveiled and presented by Eva Longoria at Cannes 2025.
