Now Open: Originals List Pre-applications

Pre-applications offer you the chance to strengthen your materials before the official call opens. You can:

• Receive script notes or pitch deck feedback from our reading committee, or

• Work with our designer and team to develop the first version of your pitch deck

Why consider pre-applying?

• Prepare your materials (script or pitch deck) ahead of applying

• Get feedback from the same reading committee that will review official submissions

• Limited spots available — early submissions receive faster feedback

• Improve your application materials before the competition begins

Materials needed for Pre-Applications:

• Required: Feature script or TV pilot

• Optional: pitch deck, writer or director's statement, bio.

About the Originals List

• Eligibility: Any writer, screenwriter, filmmaker, or indie producer looking for producing partners, optioning or financing opportunities.

• Required materials for official applications: Feature script or TV pilot + film or TV series pitch deck in English, French or Spanish

• List Selection: Distinguished jury to be announced (official submissions open October 31). The jury selects up to 20 original projects (feature film or TV series) and seek the best of the best to present to Hollywood production companies, studios and international producers.

• Finalists: Finalists receive pitch deck mentorship and pitch to an intimate group of production companies and studio executives in Los Angeles.

• Opportunity: As an inaugural finalist, your project will always be featured in the Originals List booklet shared with our network of 5,000 production companies, agents and financiers. Finalists also gain visibility thanks to the Wscripted+ platform, list promotion, jury endorsement and pitch event in LA.
